MSK has successfully concluded another wonderful semester, exploring our new "Medical AI" curriculum under the guidance of instructor Joey Lu. Students were divided into four groups, with each team tasked with designing and developing their own healthcare-focused AI application.
The first group created an AI model on bone fractures.

Second group created an ML model for skin cancer.

Third group created a ML AI model for detecting scoliosis.

Our final group created an AI model for breast cancer detection.

What was most impressive about the presentations was not the fact that all groups had working models, but rather the way they delivered their work. Each group described the process of developing their model alongside the difficulties they encountered along the way. More importantly, they explained how they overcame those challenges. While each group reached a different level of completion, the focus was not on whether they finished, but on what they learned and how they collaborated to solve the problems.
MSK kids are amazing.
