An energetic and driven Northern Virginia native, I am passionate about inspiring and stimulating young minds through the wonders of medical science. My academic background includes attending Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, Boston University, and Korea University College of Medicine—one of South Korea's premier medical institutions. Beyond teaching science, I specialize in mentoring students on how to approach complex problems with curiosity, critical thinking, and confidence, empowering the next generation to become lifelong scientists.

Abhiram Sanku

Driven and curious high school senior at Academies of Loudoun. President of Medical Science Kids, where he works to make medical science engaging and accessible to students through hands on education and competition. Conducts research in medical science, robotics, and AI through the Academies of Loudoun and Medical Science Kids organization. Developed a wearable fall prevention device with George Mason University's Aspiring Inventors Club. Received the Collins Aerospace Award at the 2026 Loudoun County Regional Science and Engineering Fair for Rescue Robotics project. Summer research intern at HHMI's Janelia Research Campus.

Junior Mentor

Timothy Yoo

High school senior at the Academies of Loudoun with a strong interest in research, mathematics, and artificial intelligence. Research Mentor at Medical Science Kids, where he mentors students in medical science, machine learning, and interdisciplinary research. His research experience spans artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, environmental data science, and aerospace, including work through the Academies of Loudoun, Bluebell Envirobotics, and NASA Langley programs. His research has been recognized at local science fairs, published in the Journal of Research High School, and received an Outstanding Research Paper Award at JRHS. Through research and mentorship, he hopes to help younger students develop meaningful questions, think critically, and become more confident independent researchers.
